Meet the Doctor

Dr. Jin Sung is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Methuen community.

Dr. Jin W. Sung is a Fellow in Functional Neurology (FIBFN FN) and has been in private practice for the past 23 years specializing in the management of chronic conditions both neurologically and metabolically. His first 7 years of private practice were spent in New York City where he developed a practice focusing on acute musculoskeletal injuries. In 2004 Dr. Sung moved to Massachusetts and opened Functional Chiropractic, Inc in Methuen Massachusetts with the goal of developing the most technologically advanced clinic for the management of spinal disc related disorders and chronic metabolic conditions. Functional Chiropractic, Inc currently offers an array of services which includes non surgical spinal decompression therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy and many different physiotherapies. We also focus on chronic metabolic conditions such as thyroid disorders, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, irritable bowel syndrome and chronic pain. Dr. Sung's goal is to offer patients the highest quality care with the newest advances in medical technology.

Dr. Jin Sung has been helping chronic patients with chronic conditions for last 23 years. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Sung is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of  patients.

Dr. Sung uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Sung is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Diabetes and Dysglycemia Clinical Strategies and Treatment Applications. This course will provide clinicians with a detailed map on how to evaluate, manage, and treat the spectrum of blood sugar disorders including hypoglycemia, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, metabolic syndrome and adrenal dysregulation disorders with diet, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies. Hashimoto's Clinical Strategies and Treatment Applications. The latest and research and clinical strategies that have been developed by Dr. Kharrazian in managing and working with chronic autoimmune thyroid patients. Much of this information has never been released before in his books or previous courses. Autoimmunity Clinical Strategies and Treatment Applications. The rates of autoimmune disease are rising at an alarming rate and impacting all age groups. These lead to conditions such as Hashimoto’s, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diabetes, etc.

The Autoimmune course focuses on various autoimmune target protein antibodies and diagnostic strategies to identify and diagnose neurological autoimmune disorders.
